November 2023
Dear Friends,

What an incredible year of ministry it has been! Each year we are astounded at the ways the Lord provides and how HE shows us that HE is not through with what our community started in 2005 with the formation of the Jason Paul Cameron Foundation! We want to share with you all the ways you made a difference in the 2022-2023 school year.

As each school year comes to a close, we pray about where God would lead this ministry in the coming year. We never imagined that after 18 years we would still be privileged to minister to so many. This year we received a call that the JPC Foundation had been named as the recipient of a generous gift in a will. God made it abundantly clear HE was still at work! We were honored by this gift from a family who received a copy of Good Grief in their own time of need and wished to impact others for years to come.

This summer, our pastor led us through a four-week series called “Together We” which explored the core values of our church, First West. He spoke each week about the values: Worship, Equip, Reach, Multiply, and I sensed the Lord reveal to me the ways our ministry works hand in hand with those values. Through the scholarship program for youth camp and education; mentoring programs for students, school leadership and interns; and through the provision of the Good Grief book for families and grief programs we share each of those same values. This year we provided a leadership book to all new principals, assistant principals and counselors in our school district. In addition, we provided the book to the leadership team at Southwest Christian School in Fort Worth where Jonathan serves in administration. We were also honored to provide our Daily Evaluation Cards to thousands of students at the area wide Youth Impact night.

Each November we publish our newsletter in memory of Jason on his birthday. Your continued support is yet another confirmation that God is not finished yet! Through your gifts the JPC Foundation was able to give back over $40,000 this past year to students, leaders, families, churches and organizations who also strive to make an eternal impact for HIS Kingdom. Thank you for your trust and support!

Sincerely,
The Cameron Families
